Terms of Use — MealMap

By downloading, installing, or using MealMap ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

MealMap is a meal planning application that provides meal calendar management, recipe storage, grocery list generation, and AI-powered features including Chef AI chat, Snap to Meal photo recognition, and Auto Plan weekly meal generation. The App is developed by Justin Bundrick / BunjiSolutions.

2. Subscriptions & Payment

MealMap offers a free tier with limited features and optional premium subscriptions:

Monthly: $4.99/month, billed monthly
Annual: $29.99/year, billed annually (save 50%)

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.

3. AI Features

AI-powered features (Chef AI, Snap to Meal, Auto Plan) use third-party AI services to generate responses. AI-generated content including recipes, meal suggestions, and ingredient lists are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or nutritional correctness of AI-generated content. Always use your own judgment when preparing food, especially regarding allergies, dietary restrictions, and food safety.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated recipes or nutritional information
You must not use AI features for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and data

5. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and content are the property of Justin Bundrick / BunjiSolutions. Recipes you create or import are yours. AI-generated content does not confer intellectual property rights to either party.

6. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to: allergic reactions, food safety issues, or inaccurate nutritional information from AI-generated content.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
